- Working to educate young school children in order to increase their environmental awareness.
- YMCA Earth Service Corps
- A partnership between students, adult volunteers, and staff. The four main components of the curriculum are environmental education, leadership development, action projects, and cross-cultural awareness.

- Young people dedicated to empowering and enabling their generation to become global citizens, with a focus on environmental and social justice issues.
- Youth for Environmental Service
- Gets students involved in environmental community service projects such as beach cleanups, tree plantings, etc. Working in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Honolulu.
- This Is Our Land!
- Teenagers helped revitalize a community's vacant lot, and told the story of neighbourhood renewal through an exhibition at the Oakland Museum of California.
